Learnership

Learnership

A learnership combines both classroom learning and workplace-based experience, and consists of at least 120 credits (1200 notional hours).  A learnership usually runs over a period of 12 months, in which the learner is contracted to the company by way of a fixed-term contract

Learnerships can be conducted on-site at clients’ premises if the client wishes to have learners on-site or alternatively off-site by working with partners and clients who can accommodate learners.

At Khula Skills, we can assist you by creating, recruiting, contracting and facilitating a learnership programme in line with the needs of your business.

Learnerships can assist the employer by obtaining additional points on their BEE scorecard and could also be eligible for SETA grants and / or tax benefits.
